CHALLENGE
New England School of Law felt they were perceived as the "little law school that could".
And they were tired of it. For decades, they grew, adapted and flourished…but always in the
shadows of Boston's other internationally known law schools. As they approached their 100th
year, New England School of Law wanted to stage a Centennial Celebration event that would
not only honor their past, but re-position themselves for the future.
SOLUTION
Blue Wave created a complete marketing campaign that would focus on the school's unique heritage
and plans for the future...ultimately "setting the stage" for an impactful Centennial event.
Our theme, "100 Years, 100 Stories" was fully integrated throughout all media and collateral
elements; "Save the Date" direct mail and invitations, event programs, set design, speech writing,
city street pole and stand-alone banners, an 80'x 30' building wrap, commemorative premium products,
and an historical video presentation that would "open" the event and be archived on the school's web site.
Blue Wave produced and staged the Centennial event at the TD Garden, with over 2,500 guests in
attendance. The event featured vibrant speeches written by Blue Wave, a Gospel choir, live bands
and indoor pyrotechnics that literally took the attendees breath away.
Attended and enjoyed by local politicians and dignitaries, members of the legal community, alumni, faculty and students, the event successfully honored the past and celebrated the present and future of the school.
